It occurred to me the other day, that I'm a uni student. Which involves a lot of going out to clubs and such, as well as generally buying alcomohols.
But, since you need your ID as proof of age, there's a problem. When I start transitioning, I'm going to want to look as feminine as possible, but there's a guy on my ID.
So what do I do? :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Try and get an updated ID.
    :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: is it that simple?

Look 'em dead in the eye and say 'I can show you it if you like...'

That would be awkward. Lol, but I like ElliaOtaku's solution!

I wouldn't have this probably because I'm not interested in such things anyway, so I don't really have any good suggestions for you.

Incidentally, my suggestion sounds like a joke, I'm actually completely serious. Bar staff have too much shit to deal with to argue with you about it, you've basically given them the 'I know what it says, please don't make I big deal out of it' and unless you look COMPLETELY different or look seriously under age as a girl, then they probably won't.

Also my only ID has me with a full beard so imagine how it looks for me xD

Well your face won't be changing much so your ID should still look something like you. If you don't mind them knowing, you could explain to them that you are in the middle of transitioning.

Also I am jealous that you go out and party. I am too much of a wall flower to do that and trying it dressed as a woman I would die of fright. Your quite brave.

Haha, I do like that as a solution! :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

And I suppose, but they'd probably still turn it down. :frowning2:
It's more for going to Wetherspoon's for a drink, or pick something up in Tesco. But there's no harm in trying I suppose.

And there's no bravery about it, I've yet to start transitioning. Who knows? When my housemates find out, there may not be any nights out. Only time will tell. :/

    (!) <--- Me on a night out.
