I was just thinking about how hard being in those set of circumstances would be for that hypothetical person. In that she would most likely be seen by society at large as a gay or straight man. :icon_sad:

Well, to be honest, I think just straight up trans people in general (by society at large) are seen as their assigned at birth gender regardless of all of that.

That sort of assumes that most post-op girls actually pass.

Having said that, I find it to be mostly about not giving anyone else the opportunity to think otherwise. Never give a male name, never tell them you're anything but female, never talk about the male aspects of your body. It won't work on everyone but I find a lot of people will just go with it for the sake of avoiding an awkward conversation...

Hey, there's nothing wrong with being silly. Btw ... I'm kinda in that boat. No medical intervention, no anything except some girly attire (and body shave). Everyone sees me as a guy, or (maybe) a gay guy. Thing is, I've not had a chance to, as Ellia said, give a female (our even neutral) name. My given name (Jake) suggests masculine and that's what everyone knows me as. May likely try that if I leave town though.
