I'm biologically female but want to look like an androgynous man who looks borderline female. So a bit like Andy Biersack in 2011 or something. Any tips on how I can do this?

(I've always loved the idea of being a male drag queen - I'd give an arm and a leg to play Dr Frank 'n' Furter.)

Can we post links? There are a couple of Google image results I'd like to share to give a idea of the look I'm going for.

    Hey!

Wow, Andy looks awesome. I wouldn't mind looking like that either
there are women who dress like drag queens and they're called faux queens.

You need a right kind of haircut. You should check out japanese "anime" hairstyles (for men, obviously).
You could take inspiration for clothing from other androgynous people. As well as makeup.

If you find any links with good guides, I am also interested (though I don't know if posting is allowed).

good luck on this, I am coming from the other side MBP to a feminine look and presentation, obviously there are some challenges that present it self to both sides. the main thing especially in the begiining is to have fun with it and enjoy experimenting on various looks until you feel comfortable with what you want.

Are you considering any perm changes?

I'm not too sure, I'm seeing counselling just now about it though. I'm just trying to find myself

I don't know if this helps at all, but I like how I look in a turtle-neck sweater. It kind of covers my atom's apple. Coupled with my long hair, I look a little feminine while wearing something fairly gender-neutral.
    Would that be androgynous?
