I just met the doctor yesterday and I'm just so happy about how it went.

He said my school had no right to treat me like they did, so he wrote a letter saying teachers should call me my preferred name and that it should also be used in my year book and during graduation. I'm supposed to give that letter to my director tomorrow, solving my anxiety problems at school.

He also said I can begin to legally change my name now, so we called the civil state and asked for the legal documents.

Finally, I had some blood tests done so they can get back to me with it when I see them back. The next appointment (in April) is going to be when I start T (Yes!!).

    It's just so great!

I'm glad to hear that your appt went well! Hopefully your school will listen to the letter, and you can make some progress there. The way that your school has treated you has been horrible. It's awesome that you are getting started on T soon as well!

Yes, it's been wonderful! I just gave the letter to my director today and he's going to give it to my teachers so the ones who don't call me by my preferred name yet will now do so. The doctor I saw was the only specialist in Quebec, so I went and saw someone who would really understand it. It was worth it to go the chaos that is Montreal just for this.
