So I went out today, in public, in the sunlight(sorta lol) went to my local mcdonalds and a gas station, I don't think anyone recognized me... but that's not the point lol
I used my phone to convey what I wanted, but more importantly I went out! =D as a woman =D
granted it is snowing, but still!
and it wasn't about being able to pass anymore, it was about me being in public, and being happy!
I feel so great... I just wanted to share =3

    Congrats!

I'm happy to hear you had the courage to go out as yourself. I hope all went well, and that you're able to find the confidence to keep on being you ^.^

    Woo!

Well done! I was shaking like a leaf the first bunch of times I went out, and I had a group of friends with me, I don't think I could have done it alone, took me ages to feel that confident!

That's really amazing! Good on you

I'm sorta curious how people reacted to your use of your phone to communicate. That sounds like a really clever and neat way to get around not feeling confident enough with your voice yet!

so.. now I just don't care anymore lol taking out trash as a woman, printing out my counties required paperwork to name change, and going to get the ball rolling on my license, bank account, etc etc lol
My neighbors don't even recognize me lol
just have to finish working on my voice... and i'm set to full time I suppose ^-^

took me a while to muster it up... taking night walks helped I think... and the perfect wig lol that and my therapist saying she doesn't feel the need to see me anymore.. unless I feel I need to see her during my transition... I feel...idk... so great about it all lol
