So I started a new job about a week ago. I did the interview as a woman (Thanks to you all here on EC for giving me the courage) so the management knows who I am, on a Gender Level, but not all the employees do, which is nice. I work in the Jewelry department which means Corporate Professional attire (which I don't mind), but Anyways today was my 3rd day on the floor... and I sold two wedding bands for a total of $16000, and some misc necklaces for like $550 total, Commission!! Despite what happened the other night I feel awesome, I feel so confident during the day especially my working hours that I am able to do all this stuff and sell things =D the Customers don't stare or whisper or anything around me! Love you EC community! I owe this job to you all, a Job I actually enjoying doing for once in my life.
Aw, that's lovely news! Thank you for sharing. Hopefully this will give hope to those who have/are/will transition. Congratulations on finding a great job with wonderful colleagues!
