For a few months now, I've been wishing I had a penis. But this seems to only happen when I'm turned on. I wish I could have a penis just so I could have the power to dominate in bed. I could claim things as mine by jizzing on them! And yet there's just something about having a vagina that seems non-threatening when humping something. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

And I have randomly caught myself saying "guy things." Like, "I wish XYZ would blow me." Then I sit back a second and say to myself, "What was that? I don't have a dick. Why am I using dick 'phrases' so naturally?!" :icon_redf

I also hate the problems of having a vagina. Periods, potential pregnancy, yeast infections. Guys get to avoid periods and can have sex and not worry about their bodies carrying a baby for 9 months!

The thing is, I don't want to have a male body. I just want the penis. Balls, maybe. Getting kicked in the balls sounds uncomfortable.

And yet the only things I've found on this online are in reference to being trans. Does it count as being trans if I just want to change privates and nothing else? I really don't want to become a man.

I think most people would be inclined to say it doesn't count...I'm not sure...

I mean realistically, think of the things you've mentioned "Periods, potential pregnancy, yeast infections". I don't think ANYONE likes periods and yeast infections, and most people don't 'enjoy' pregnancy, or at least, not in the usual sense someone enjoys something. So I wouldn't read to much in to that.

Ditto with the phrases. I mean it's just a common phrase and for some reason it is becoming more common for women to use it whether it makes sense or not.

Honestly I think this sums it up pretty well I wish I could have a penis just so I could have the power to dominate in bed.

I mean you could do that anyway you know...

Actually i want the opposite. I want a vagina and the things that come with it! Periods, potential pregnancy. Because if i get PMS i have a reason to yell at my loving douche bag brother of mine. LOL

Believe it or not, i wish i could get pregnant and bare a child for 9 months. Just that alone i wish there were biological technologies that would allow a person once born a man. To genetically create a uterus that has my DNA with Ovaries the whole 9 yards. I would love to finance such Stem Cell research studies to further such science that is at the moment "science" fiction. :frowning2:

Not to hijack this thread (O, that will be my epitaph, I think, lol), but science is making some pretty remarkable inroads of late to accommodate the needs of queer folk. There's a thread right now in Current Events about stem cell research that may result in the possibility of two men being able to produce an egg from their sperm. (I realize this is more a gay vs. trans issue.)

    ---

As for coveting masculine potency, I can grasp the OP's sentiment. There is something unquestionably desirable about masculine potency. (At least to a great many of us.) Although I am personally OK with my own genitals and not interested in swapping them out, I get that many experience this type of mismatch. If you hang around this forum, Lannae, you will see many female-bodied persons express much the same sentiment (and they're not all transmen). So please know you're not alone in having these feelings.

You - message me. A lot of people in my family (fortunately, not me) have this so, I may have ideas.

OP, it doesn't sound as if you're trans. It could just be envy or (I apologize but must bring it up :icon_sad:slight_smile: even a fetish...

Are you turned on by the idea of having a penis? Or is it more a desire for power?

I mean, not to be blunt but since you really only want a penis for sex and it's not an identity thing... Just buy a strap-on.

I mean, for me, I'm a trans guy. And yeah, I want a penis. I don't want periods. But for me, it wasn't so much I just wanted a penis but that I felt like I should've had something from birth and I identified as something other than what I was born as.

This says to me that you aren't. You just have what boils down to a sexual desire, especially since it only pops up when you're aroused, and that's perfectly alright.

They have strap ons that have a spot for a vibrator, so, maybe you could get yourself one of those.

In all seriousness, strap-ons are a thing, maybe try one of those? :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
Also, could just be a bit of penis envy, which is fairly common I believe.

^ Also, not to be a jerk but that's gross. Almost no one does this and even if you had bottom surgery, you couldn't nor should you if a magical fairy gives you a penis while you sleep. :icon_eek:

"It's MINE I tell you, all mine!!! I JIZZED ON IT! See? I've marked my territory, you bastards and there's nothing you can do about it? Oh...What's that? Why are you unzipping? ....oh jeez. Stop. Why are you wanking? This is gross. This is weird. It wasn't gross or weird when I did it. Dude. Dude. Please. Why? Oh. Okay. So you jizzed on it too. Cool beans. But I jizzed on it first, Jim. MY SEMEN. MY TERRITORY. BASTARD."

If you know someone who does this, you're legally obliged to punch them in the face.

:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao: Seriously, label-makers are a thing. They even have shiny buttons! And if it's a person you're trying to claim, put a ring on it!! Both options are more effective and require less investment into sanitizing wipes.
And I am not picking on normal functions of male physiology; in sex, obviously, that is normal but not for territorial disputes. :roflmao:

Oh, you guys! >.< I should have been more clear.

Not jizzing on actual "things." I meant the sort of claim a guy has when he comes on a woman's face or a part of her. And yes, I'd like to mark my partner as my territory. Is that so bad? :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I've never heard of a guy who does that, lol. Coming, yeah. But afraid I don't know anyone who's like "Me jizz on Jane's face. Tarzan own Jane now." Maybe in porn?

Umm...I DO think you're buying a bit overmuch into porn culture a bit... *cough* >_>

(Personally, I would just be disgusted, and to the contrary: his quote unquote "claim" on me would immediately be ended. )

I guess not...so long as your partner likes it.

Otherwise, you're going to have some problems. lol

Indeed; this. I very often imagine what it might be like to have sex with a guy if I had a vagina. But this is frankly the only time that I'd prefer it, and such is not indicative of a transgendered identity - relatively obvious to say, but it's more than just sex.

And I'm pretty ambivalent toward the idea of having a woman's body - but really, if I were suddenly given a female body tomorrow I'd be completely clueless without 22 years of socialization as a woman. Such suggests I never had an underlying female brain structure in the first place.

Of course, no need to outright strike it from your mind, and explore your thoughts further - but keep in mind that being transgendered is generally all-encompassing, and not just sex-focused.

If you're only wanting to be "male" during sex, especially because you want to dominate sexually, you're almost assuredly not transgender. Stap-ons sound like a solution in your case.
