wigs?

Discussion in 'Gender Identity and Expression' started by flyinhernikes, May 12, 2014.

  1. idk if it goes here.... move it if it doesnt sorry in advance!

everyone who wears wigs..... what are some good brands that look real(ish) and srent too shiny also not too heavy?

my hair is getting awfy long now since its grown from being shaved off last year.... but yet not long enough to do anything with it yet or even tie it up properly so it fits under wigs well (like it used to when it was shorter)... so its getting harder to wear them :frowning2:

i did get a few from japan but they were far too thick and heavy for my wee head....

    what brands do you recommend?
how much do you usually pay?

ive used some £10 ones which are so light and comfy but wondering if splashing out a little will pay off in the long run? as the cheap ones go tatty after a few brushes.

any advice/tips/help is welcome thanks ;D

I bought this in dark brown. (See my album for better look.)

It's absolutely a gorgeous wig, although it's quite a lot of mane to handle. It's going to take some getting used to. I am wanting to trim it a bit (maybe a good four/five inches), but worried I'd just botch it up with my shaky hands. Am going to have to maybe consult with a wig pro about it.

Kinda jelly of that. But since I'm sorta undecided I haven't committed to a color yet and people are trying to get me to take requests.

    Yes your wig is boss.
