    ...Back again.
    Mia's back,
    Tell a friend.

    Ok, so enough Slim Shady.
I'm not sure how much I'll be on at the moment, but it probably won't be in the vicinity of "not at all".

I guess I didn't get too far with the self discovery thing. But even without EC, it weighs heavily on my mind, so there's that. I wish I were born female, very much so! If I could have one wish, you can probably guess what it'd be. But will I go as far as transitioning, I'm not so sure.

How am I supposed to know if transitioning is worth it for me?

Welcome back, good to see you. Have you found a gender therapist? Self-discovery takes a while. All you need is patience.

    I haven't yet. :frowning2:

But will have to soon! Also depends on if I'm staying with my parents over the summer, or staying here.

Hey, Mia, we've missed you. Glad to see you back.

Def figuring out transition vs no is something best worked out with a specialist. I'm really counting on mine to help me figure out where I need to be going for the future. Still only barely scratched the surface after one session, but going to try to be patient with a decision.

Ideally, group therapy will also be an option a specialist can offer. Going to my first, hopefully dressed as me, this Thursday. Nervous but excited, you know?

Yeah! And hopefully you figure it out. But yeah, being patient is definitely a good idea!
Oooh, hope it goes well! You're gonna have to tell me all about it. :3

Oh I will, but not going to crowd that into your thread.

In the meantime, maybe start using the internet to research potential gender therapists in both yours and your family's areas? Never can prepare too much.

How am I supposed to know if transitioning is worth it for me?

While you were on your personally enforced "Stay away from trans stuff" time out, how many times did you think "Damn I wish I was a girl"?

Seriously, if it's getting to you that badly that it's affecting your life its worth considering very VERY hard.

    Feel free.

And yeah, probably should do that. If not, a regular therapist will have to do. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    Quite a lot. :/
The thing is, I don't hate being a guy. In fact, it's pretty easy being a guy! I guess I'm looking for logical reasons to complicate everything.

Mia you have plenty of time to figure things out but I agree with Hollys earlier statement.

I'm certainly not happy, but I don't know how much of that boils down to gender. :/

That's exactly what I said to my therapist today...

They aren't currently licensed to recommend hormones or SRS but are working at it. Anyways yea I kept coming back to the bolder quote.

    *stands up*

I definitely need to see some kind of therapist and relatively soon!
But today I've woken up and am feeling excited at the prospect of transitioning!
