So I'm trans FTM and in all of my dreams recently I’ve had a male body and in the moments between sleep and awake in the morning, I’ve almost been able to kid myself that it’s true, that I really do have that body, it’s the best couple of seconds of the day, then the next few are the most disappointing. Does any other trans person have their 'ideal' body in their dreams?
Yes and no. My dreams are extremely blurry, but most of the time, I feel as if I have a male body, even if my underparts are still female. I suppose that is my ideal body, however. But, I never felt disappointed, because I haven't had one of those dreams in a while. Only when I was in denial.
I usually aren't aware of my body unless it plays a purpose in my dream. When I am aware, I often have a male body. The few times I had a female body, I woke up feeling really dysphoric
it's happened to me in a few dreams. i always wake up feeling pretty bad, and my dysphoria is always worse that day.
Yes, I've even had one sexual dream as a male bodied person. o_o Myself of course, not as a different person. I remember having dreams as a kid, when I was 8, I had a dream I was a boy named Edmund or Edward. o_0 I always like these dreams but then I get a bit disappointed after I wake up.
