Aw, I know how you feel; pets can often be the first to accept us. :3

Cats are equal opportunists that way. They'd be delighted to sleep on you, no matter your gender.

Grats, though. It is nice to tell cats things.

    Animals are the BEST!

They probably always known, but it doesn't matter, they love you unconditionally anyway!

I remember asking my cat, Reggie, when I was 14, "Do you know what I am?" He just meowed and snuggled me. I wished animals can talk sometimes. But Reggie probably wouldn't stop talking.

My kitty was a feral kitten we got a few days old before her eyes were open. She loved my mom, dad and I and that's it. She loves us with ferocious energy and trusts us completely, but reverts to feral with anyone else. She is so bonded to me she gets kinda mopey if I'm gone for more than a day.

She took teh trans ok. I don't wish she could talk though as she says enough negative stuff with just her cat range.

No, actually I fully understand. I talk to my cat every day. She talks back, too, although her voice sounds like one of those raptors from the 'Walking with Dinosaurs' TV series.

Aww that's cute  my cat was the first one I came out, it gave me a lot of relief and comfort actually. Being able to tell someone, even if it's your pet, and have nothing change is an amazing thing

Congratulations! A step is a step no matter how small. When you're ready to tell others, I hope they are okay with it too, or that it at least won't be a problem for you. Best of luck.

This is actually a good first step. Vocalizing this in front of a living being that you love and loves you, is a good way of coming out to yourself and accepting yourself. Is a good exercise. And psycologically you still feel like you expressed yourself to someone, not matter that the cat
