If I were to get medicinal hormones, where do they come from? Are they taken from a human or made in a lab?

Well for a while I was taking estrogen that was called Premarin which is made using urine from pregnant mares. My doctor switched me to a different kind though which I think is made in a lab. So I suppose there are different kinds of hormones made in different ways.
