    I'm having a lot of trouble trying to decide on a male name for myself. Nothing I've tried or thought of has clicked yet. Can anyone give me some advice or name suggestions? You can just list your favorite male names and I can go through them and see if I like any of them. I would do this with my friends, but none of them are open enough with me yet about my gender for this conversation to be comfortable.

    One thing you could do is look up names online usually baby naming sites is a good place to start. As far as male names goes here are a few suggestions:

    - Wyatt
    - Julian
    - James
    - Charles
    - Jamie
    - Terry

    Just don't name yourself after an emotion, or do, if you want to, it may confuse a few people though.

    Thanks all of you! Most of you have actually suggested names that I've been thinking of trying, and a good portion of you have given me new names to think about.

    Feel free to keep posting names. I'm still very much undecided and more suggestions would maybe help me find something that clicks.

    And I think I've decided that I want my middle name to be James (because my current middle name is my grandmother's name and my grandfather's name is James) but that could still change. And I still need a first name, hah.

    But I really appreciate the gesture! This was fantastic advice and I'm definitely sure it'll work for someone else even though it didn't work for me.
    I think my problem is I have so many names swimming around in my head right now that I'm too confused.

    As soon as I started thinking about it Andrew just came to me and it's kind of stuck now. We'll, for me at least, nobody else knows yet. I like that it's definitely male - so nobody will be looking at my body for clues.

    Try saying some of the ones you're thinking of out loud, in the way you would if you were introducing yourself to someone. I also tried it out on my email signature at work (without sending the email obviously!) and it just felt right. Once I decided I liked it I set up an email address with it and it seemed natural.
