After reading up on material and doing soul searching, androgyne matches me head to toe

But I still feel comfortable, for the most part,.being recognised as a female. The only specific is that I like to be recognised as girly or tomvpyish when I feel like it.

Is that normal? I'm anxious that it means I may be 'false'.

You might be genderfluid. People who are genderfluid flow between two genders depending on how they feel at the time. Otherwise, tomboy and/or androgyne could work for you. It's your choice.

I feel the same way. I'm more masculine than not, but I just don't feel comfortable trying to describe myself as fully male.

I think I might be kind of like you. I'm fine with and sometimes even want to be referred to as female, but I order to appear physically androgynous or male

Your description reminds me of myself, I've been thinking of describing myself as androgynous instead of genderqueer cause people don't seem to know what genderqueer is when I come out to them.
