Hi Everypony! I just talked to the Gender Center. I was worried because they are in a city that's a 3 hour drive from my home, but they said I only need to do 1 intake session and 1 intro session w/ my therapist then the rest can be done via skype! That's soooo much easier! It looks like early December might be the best, she said if I intake on Tuesday, i could do a transitions group, see my therapist on Wednesday, and it would only be one trip w/ an overnight stay. It's so exciting, because I have *no* way to get up there often, but 1 overnigt trip and skype for the rest is awesome! :icon_bigg

Thanx! I really don't mind this wait, mom and i are fixed income so we're planning to make a little trip of it, nice motel dining out, and such.

exactly! We can really do some fun things, at least cuisine-wise. And much less stressful that 6+ driving hours in one day.

Congratulations! My mom just called for one today as well. Mine is two hours away, but I don't think we'll be using Skype at all. D: I'll probably just have to have less frequent visits.
