Does any other gender fluid person feel a strong sense of utilitarianism when they're feeling androgynous?

Can I get more clarity on what you mean by a sense of untilitarianism?

Like hyper efficiency. An example would be dressing to combat the weather in the most efficient way possible with no though given to atheistics. Orderly, effective, and plain.

Behaving functionally. I feel like mechanical is to strong, but it fits.

I like browns and grays when I feel androgynous. Sorry I'm terrible at explaining this ^.^
My feelings of androgyny have gone down the more I've accepted my femi side though >_>

I think that would describe me pretty accurately. With the example you gave, anyway. Initially when it started getting cold, I tried to wear warmer clothes while still looking feminine and beautiful. I then went through a few weeks where I just wore the same jacket and jeans over and over again because they kept me warm. Now I'm trying to dress in a way that's distinctly masculine, but still keeps me warm.

I guess that when I'm Androgyne, despite some minor dysphoria, I feel like I have the most freedom in my expression as well as the most variety in my life so I become much more energetic, I guess.

Hmm, yeah. I'd say I lived a lot of my life like that too especially when I feel like I've suppressed.

I think I relate to that 2nd bit too. Hard to say.

I think that's what I'd call my neutral state, rather than androgynous.. to me androgyny would be very concerned with aesthetic, in order to appear like a blend of male and female.
