Using Stem Cells in gender reassignment?

    Why aren't Stem Cells used in gender reassignment surgeries? If Stem Cells were used, doctors could craft fully functional sex organs out of them.

    Stems cell research is still extremely fresh in the world of science. I don't doubt that there will be a day when producing new organs will be relatively effortless, but that simply isn't the case of today.

    Probably not helped by the general moral outrage over using stem cells for just about anything..

    Yeah, there's a lot of people who won't let people use them for Parkinson's because of religious beliefs. You can imagine how many of them feel about transgender people and SRS.
