I am looking for songs with Transgender theme's.
I have found it very difficult. Used Google and found some lists, but none of those songs I liked.

So I was wondering if any one knows of any?
Or any songs that are empowering or give you the feels.

You'll find a lot in "Against Me!" especially recently since frontwoman Laura came out as a transwoman. But you'll probably only like Against Me! if you're into the punk scene... Also Green Day's King For A Day is pretty great, it's about crossdressing and not giving a sh:***:t what other people think about it. It was the earliest song with gender variant themes I'd listened to as a child.

"Kitchen Sink" - Twenty One Pilots (not purposefully about being trans, but it can be interpreted that way.)
"Given Up" - Linkin Park (for those days that dysphoric sucks and you want to scream. Also in the same boat as the above mentioned song.)
"I Won't Say The Lord's Prayer" - The Wonder Years (when you want to give those religious transphobic idiots the middle finger. Not directly about trans stuff again, but could be taken as such.)
"What Are You So Scared Of?" - Tonight Alive (not really about trans things, but it's pretty empowering.)

This are of the songs that are on my "f*ckdysphoria-playlist", they are not exactly about being transgender, but can be interpreted as if.

If I where a boy -Beyoncé (only because of these five words)

Not really about being trans but still nice to listen to when you don't like people,
"Everyone else is an Asshole" - by Reel Big Fish

It certainly makes me feel a bit better.

Mulan's "Reflection" from the Disney movie. I was just idly buying kids songs on itunes from kids movies the other day, and one of them was Mulan's "Reflection". It didn't hit me until i listened to it, but when it did it really hit me. I know its not supposed to be about trans kids, but even as a bigender/genderfluid person i relate to it to the point it had me emotional. And i don't get emotional easy. DAMNIT i see that someone above already suggested it. Oh well.

A bunch of songs by the Spook School have trans themes. Binary is about nonbinary genders, I'll Be Honest is about coming out, Burn Masculinity is about getting male privilege when you're transitioning, there's a bunch of others.

Maybe that should have been a sign to me when I was younger about being trans, Mulan was always my favorite movie and Disney Princess. I think part of that was all the "gender bending" the movie did.

    Someone Else - Kellin Quinn

Not trans per say, but has themes I'm sure are relatable when dysphoric. It speaks to me anyway.

Watch the videos by Mary Lambert. She has trans guys in there even though the song's about women, and that's amazing
