So I go to a really conservative school, and decided to change my name on facebook and pronouns. While I was expecting some random comments from people I know (which I've yet to get) something AMAZING happened that I just wanted to post about. Apparently someone saw that I changed my name and pronouns who was on yearbook staff, and asked me if I want the male version of my name in the yearbook. I could tell they were awkward asking me, because they weren't sure if that was a "do it in silence thing," but they were really nice about it, and kind of went out of their way when that wasn't something they had to do. It's really cool when you have those moments when things just work out well; now I'm going to get a senior yearbook that's actually not embarrassing
