Hmm... for some reason you strike me as a 'D' kind of person. Like Dean or Derek.

Im not out to family but i subtly asked my mum what her favourite male names where. I also asked some friends to tell me names they like and names they think would suit. I'm currently torn between 4 names and i havent got a middle name or surname chosen yet.

You might have a look here:

And I don't think you need to choose something to set you apart if you like a name.

I chose A genderfluid name at first to test out before fully going Transgender completely. It was easier for my family to grasp a slightly more feminine name, before going completely to a male name from a female one. I ended up liking it, and heard theres some mythology behind it.

The name is Angelus Adam.

I love it, wouldn't change it for the world. When you find your " true name" it will ring a sound of happiness in you whenever its said. I look forward to my name change process. I currently cringe with dismay hearing my birth name ><

Hm. I like James. Maybe Colin, Alex, or Dylan? I liked "Derek" above too.

Some of the names I was torn between when choosing mine were: Justin, James, Daniel, and Mike.

My go-to site for finding names: Behind the Name: Meaning of Names, Baby Name Meanings. You can search by gender (including unisex), country, mythology, literature, religion, and even meaning. It's really well laid out and has helped out when I'm having trouble with character naming.

Would you like a totally new name? Something that your mom would have picked out? Something that sounds like your current name? Something that starts with the same letter? These questions might help you narrow it down.

If all else fails, this might help.

Try looking through baby name websites to find a name you really like, or if you're stuck try a male version of your current name, or the name your parents would have given you if you'd have been born biologically male. If that doesn't work try a name from a foreign country that you have some links to.

    Good luck!
