Is the name Izzy gender fluid or gender neutral? If not, im not sure how id get people to call me something different, and i dont know how much confidence i can build up to "come out" again. Also, I wouldnt know what other name to be called thats close to izzy, or something that id like... *shrug*

I've seen guys named Taylor and girls named Logan, and they aren't considered that weird, so I'd say Izzy can pass as a genderfluid name for sure. Although I could see people struggling to understand Izzy as a boy name. My guess is people presume Izzy is short for Lizzy which is short for Elisabeth. There's no clear connection to Izzy to any guy name so you'd have to probably tell a lot of people that your name is "just Izzy"

Isadore or Isadora, and some other names as well, all can be called Izzy

I know a boy Izzy and a girl Izzy both with similar personalities and interests, oftentimes when my friend mentions a conversation he had with one of them I'm totally confused which one he's talking about XD
To me, at least, Izzy is a name that knows no gender.

What about Alex... or Lex... or Jay...

a lot of people have nicknames because they do not like their birth name...

    izzy is good though...
you also might try just an abbreviation, the first letter, for example...
jay or G would be an example...
do you have a second name you could make use of ?

I've always thought of Izzy as being unisex.

I don't see why Izzy wouldn't be gender-neutral. Hell when they translated Digimon into English they chose Izzy for Koushiro Izumi's name (that's a guy btw) and it's my sister's #1 pick for a girl's name. So it works. And if you're comfortable with it who cares?

I never plan on changing my name, even though the full version is undeniably female. I've got CJ or Cas(s) to go by and that's gender-neutral enough for me!
