Lot of name threads tonight, so here's one more.

When I accepted I was trans I all but decided on the name "Abigail" for some sentimental reasons and because it's a really pretty name but ever since somebody suggested the name "Quinzel" I can't get it out of my head.

So what are your opinions? "Abigail" with "Abby" and "Gale" as potential nicknames or "Quinzel" with "Quinn" as a nickname?

    Abigail.
Well, the first name that comes to mind is Morgana, but Abigail suits you fine.

I'm fence-sitting like you. Quinzel has a unique ring to it, while Abigail is still common but with a great sound to it. Either way, both are amazing names. Perhaps you could make one of them your middle name? Abigail Quinzel or Quinzel Abigail both sound great together!

I'd consider it if I didn't already have so many.

Huh. I'm surprised to see so many boys being given the name at birth. Doesn't sound male to me.

What I would do in such a situation is just add it in as a middle name. That's what I do with the names I like. Although my name is getting too long: Ashley Leelah Arya Dakota [last name].

Well... its only five, so its not really statistically.

The purpose was the list on the right... with alternatives.

I've always liked the name Abigail.
Quinzel is also a nice name. It's unique.
