Is it normal to deliberately modulate your voice to make it sound more feminine?

Like not just to a higher register, but even in the form of speech patterns? I'm pre-everything MAAB. It sometimes feels too deliberate to feel comfortable, but oftentimes it just feels right. And it's not like I get some sexual thrill off of it. It just feels like an authentic me.

I tend to be happier if I make my voice just the slightest bit more feminine. It makes me sound a lot more upbeat than I normally am, and that in turn raises the quality of my actual mood.

It's not weird at all. Just remember that what a biological male initially views as effeminate is usually overdone from an outside perspective. It's easy to start sounding like a parody, so to speak.
