So my first appointment with an endocrinologist is in 9 days. I'm 17 and have a letter for T from both my psychiatrist and my psychologist (gender specialist). I know I'm probably not going to be prescribed anything at the first appointment and that they will be doing a physical/blood work and so on. Other than that, is there anything I should expect from the first appointment? I've heard some people talking about a gyno check up and I want to be mentally prepared if there is any truth to that. I know all doctors do things differently, but overall? Thanks!
My endo did blood tests first. He gave me a script that day. I did not have to see a gyno before I got a script. Each doctor is different though.
Mine did nothing "down there". I was having severe anxieties afraid he was going to. But no, he didn't.
