    Hi my loves

I'm trying to decide on a new name. I've been bugging my few friends who know to try and help me decide, but they're just as indecisive as I am! I'd really love some opinions on the names I narrowed down.

My last name begins with an S, and is 3 syllables if it helps the decision process.

Be sure to cast your vote, I'm getting really excited that my female interior will finally have an identity of her own!

Thanks in advance for all the people whom give input! (*hug*) Love you all

I first heard it on one of my favourite shows, one of the main characters is named Ariana and I loved it  I've always had a thing for the name Celeste, but I don't know how well it'd match my last name as they have the same starting sound.

My first and last name have the same starting sound

I picked Baylee, I kind of just feel that. The other names seem a bit older to me. Not that that is bad though :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Baylee was the suggestion of one of my close friends, I mainly like it because my first name already begins with B so it would be a simpler name to transition to. I'm so torn, if I had to narrow my choices down to three I think I'd pick Celeste, Dorian or Danielle. I still love Baylee and Ariana though, such a hard choice D: I don't want a super common name either, and Danielle is def the most common out of my options I think

I've always really loved the wonder of space, the cosmos and the idea of the universe, I think that's why I'm so heavily drawn to that name

Thanks a lot love ^^ I don't even know where I saw that name first, I think it was just a random on Facebook I saw once and it stuck with me xD

I consider the practical aspects, such as having a name people will assume is female rather than androgynous, and if you want a shorter version (nickname) possible. Dorian and Baylee can be male names, and Danielle is similar to a male name (and could be shorted to one). That's not a vote for or against, since they're all good options.

    Aesthetically, I like Ariana.

When I name characters in my fiction, I research the names to see what gender and age are most associated with it, so I've given this sort of thing some thought. My pen [first] name is a gender-neutral acronym that isn't used as a name, but sounds like one.

You're all making me even MORE indecisive! xD Chloe does bring up a good point, Dorian is (I'd say) more a guys name than girls, but it is so pretty on a girl! But I think it may add to confusion. Danielle sounds really similar to Daniel, another confuser.

Ariana and Celeste seem to be the last couple choices I've narrowed down to. When I look in the mirror and say, "Hi, I'm Celeste!" It feels a bit more natural than Ariana. Idk, maybe Celeste first name Ariana middle? It's a hard choice! The poll is rather close as well :3

    Ariana- "Most Holy"
    Celeste- "Of the Sky, Heavenly"
Dorian- It is actually a masculine name, Doriane is for female. It was used in a novel by Oscar Wilde.
    Danielle- "God is my judge"
Baylee- Comes from the surname Bailey which derives from Middle English baili meaning "bailiff".
