I didn't even know this day existed until last night just before going to bed actually... around when a youtuber I watch uploaded a video about it. I just figured I'd make a thread about it. I'm curious as to whether there is anyone else here who didn't know. And for those who did, did you do anything special? Maybe wear something, come out to someone, or whatever? I don't think I would have done anything differently.
Honestly, I think having a special day like that is kinda silly. I am just interested in what you have to say about it.

Me neither. I didn't know until pages I followed talked about it. I think it's too close to april fools, if you ask me. On top of that, it's not advertised enough to mean much.

I knew about it a couple months ago, and I plan on donating to some kind of charity after I buy my binder.

I learned about it today when someone here on EC was talking about it in another topic. I did come out to two people who I hadn't seen for years yesterday, so I did my part anyway. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I saw someone post something about it. But I'm oblivious in general. I didn't do anything special.

I totally missed it; didn't really know it existed to be honest.

A youtuber mentioned it in a vid that I watched, but other than that I had no idea. It does sound a little like an April Fools prank, if you are especially cynical- outing yourself to everyone. (I don't see it that way.)

I missed it too. Didn't know anything about it until my cis friend told me about it. Awkward.

"Trans day of visibility was yesterday" *looks at me expectantly*

Me, with food in my mouth: "Wha? That's a thing? It's real, it exists? How did I know nothing about this?"

"Calm down. You've got stuff on your shirt" *starts talking about random people on the internet*

I saw a couple people mention it on Tumblr, but I assumed it was just Tumblr being Tumblr. And actually the day of I was busy and forgot about it.
