Hey everyone, First of all, this is my first post here. This seems like a great site and I want to thank you all for running this. I'm an androgyne. I have always been androgynous, but I tried very hard to conform to my biologically assigned gender. I am male-born, and trying to be one has made me quite miserable about a lot of things, and most of all my own identity. A few months ago I decided to give that all up. I'm now in a relationship with a guy who himself is trans, and in the early stages of getting access to treatment. In the journey to discover his identity and to acknowledge his feelings I began to doubt myself more and more. So I'm coming out, bit by bit. Not to the whole world, but close friends and some relatives know at least bits of what's troubling me. Anyway, I digress. But I figured I'd share some of my back story. I'm not okay with.. What I have down there. The rest is quite all right, and I don't mind being seen as my assigned gender as long as people don't expect me to behave accordingly. But what's down there just makes me feel completely wrong. So I want to have surgery. Problem is, there is absolutely nothing to be found online about this sort of thing. An androgyne wanting to have MtF bottom surgery and wanting to be on Testosterone too. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this. I'm going to see a gender specialist soon too, I'll keep you up to date on what's happening. If there are any questions don't hesitate to ask. Thank you!
Type in genderqueer bottom surgery in a google search. I got quite a few hits. Might lead to something.
Thank you for your quick reply. I was able to find more using the "genderqueer" term. I haven't found any specific cases as of yet, but I was able to find some more information. That alone makes me feel very relieved.
