In order to explore my sexuality I've watched several videos to see what arouses me. 90% of the time i feel aroused by men and transsexuals and Im not particularly excited by women at all. Normally however, I find women beautiful and more attractive than men even though I dont feel as sexually excited by them. So i wanted to ask whether you guys feel that these videos are pretty good indicators that im gay or whetjer I'm probably not?

Usually, not. People can get turned on by people they are not attracted to, and vice versa. For example, my female friend gets turned on by lesbian scenes in movies, but she's pretty straight.

I've heard time and time again that porn is not a good indicator of sexuality. I guess because it's all staged and unrealistic, or what have you? I don't know personally, I'm just going by hearsay on this one.

In my personal (and likely mistaken this time, so take what I say with a grain of salt) opinion, porn has been at least for me a good indicator of my interests based on what I have been continually drawn to/turned away from. Yes, it even helped me realize something about my gender identity, that I kept feeling more "a part of" what I was looking at if there was a female figure I could identify with. I would sometimes even do my best to "unsee" maleness in an image if it meant I could feel more immersed.

I definitely shouldn't be the only one to answer this question. I have a feeling my thoughts on this topic are skewed because they tend to go against the grain of what I've been told.

    Usually not.

Lots of people get aroused by things in porn they wouldn't if they were to happen in real life.

For me, I was reading only guy on guy fanfic, and was completely turned off at the thought of a girl in the same scenario. And that helped me figure out some things.

You could be bi. It's normal for men to sometimes question their sexuality. And sometimes they might be "turned on" by other men. It doesn't mean anything particular. It's like when you have a game and you get bored after a while. Then you see a new game and it excites you and you wanna try something new. That doesn't mean you'll love the game and want to play it forever. You could see you didn't like it and return to the old game. You just need to explore your options. Don't push it on urself just becuz you suspect it. Give urself time to think about it and decide if its a phase or if ur gay or bi. If ur gay or bi, dont be scared youll be fine. If ur straight, dont be embarssed about being curious. Again, give urself time, don't rush urself. You'll just stress urself if u overthink it. Good luck. I hope this helped.
