So ive been binding my chest for about six months now and today i have a stabbing pain in the middle of my chest. It feels like the ribcage. Do you guys think its the binder doing this?

It's very possible. Did you do anything different than normal with it recently? Sleep with it, wear it a bit longer during the day, etc?

This is common with wearing binders, I have pretty much consistent pain in my back and ribs from wearing my binder. My bad posture probably contributes to that, though... You could try some stretches, they really help. Also make sure you take some time to lay flat on your back when you can, it can really relieve some tension.

Please try not to do too much damage to yourself. Take some breaks, and remember to breathe. you can message me anytime if you want

    Couple of questions for you.
    When your binder is off:
    Does the pain go away?
Does it hurt when you move or press on it?
Does it feel /better/ when you press on it?

It depends on what kind of binder, I think.

How have you been binding? I'd say see a doctor and get x-rays done to see if any damage was done.

I strongly recommend going to a doctor or chiropractor. It's possible you've sprained your ribs. Obviously I can't say for sure, it just sounds a LOT like when I sprained my ribs. Twice. You can't think of anything that may have caused this? Any extra strenuous activity or a lot of coughing? You will also want to ask them about binding because if it is a sprain, binding may be a bad idea. But please, please see someone about it.
