Is being androgyne being transgender? I know someone who says it is, and it seems a little confusing if you see things in a "binary" way. Not that I mean that, it just seems that transgender is always referred to MTF or FTM.

    Any thoughts?

Transgender is an umbrella term which refers to all non-cis identities, so androgyne is included in that category.
