Hello all, So I'm trans, as you can tell by my description. One thing that is really important to me is picking a new name for myself, which is what I'll legally get it changed to eventually. I won't go about putting my "birth name" or last name, for confidentiality purposes. But I thought I'd brainstorm and see what you guys thought of these name ideas... 1) Going with something unusual and/or androgynous Kai, Tal 2) Something Biblical, because that's a family tradition for males Naphtali, James, Stephen, Christopher, Peter, Thomas, Adam 3) Something Anglo or Celtic Aidan, Baen, Tristan, Emmett I'm using Rhys on this site because that's another of my favorites, and will likely become my middle name. If anyone has any ideas... feel free to post.
I kind of like Aidan/Aiden/however you spell it, and Adam. Unless you wanted to go with an androgynous name, but I think Kai is the "shinier of the two turds" in that one. ... I can say "turds" here, right?
I think Emmett Rhys [last name] would sound quite nice but also quite like Kai cause it's quite unique but yeah good luck choosing a name

I have noticed, at least around were I am, Kai is becoming a mainstream new name, and many people are naming there children that, or going by Kai as a nickname. I fear that if you are looking for unique, Kai isn't the name for you, but it is still a cool name.
For me, I'd have to go with Emmett Rhys. It just sounds natural when I say it out loud. Rhys Everett is great, too, there's just something pushing me to say Emmett Rhys.
