I decided to go out for the first time as a girl.
I decided to go for a walk in the woods near my house so I wouldn't meet anyone.
I ended up having to go on a long detour to avoid some people from school I'm not ready to come out to.
Then I ended up being chased by 4 guys, making my detour far longer to the point where it took my half an hour to work out where I was.

    That sounds awful. :frowning2:

I hope everything is ok now, you were so brave for making that first step and going out as a girl. (*hug*)

    I'm alright, just tired :icon_redf

I felt like a coward running away like that

I'm sorry to hear that - it's hard enough to find the courage, so I'm really sorry you had to experience that :frowning2:

Running away was not cowardice at all, it showed intelligence. Good for you for doing what must have been really scary!

Running away was definitely the right thing to do and you should be proud of yourself for the huge amount of bravery you showed today. It is undoubtedly one of the most frightening steps to make when you leave the home for the first time as a girl.

Cowards.. They won't do shit on their own, but once they go out with the pack...

    Just like hyenas.

Doesn't seem to be a good idea in your area. Next time try a city, crowded streets where nobody knows you. Risk is lower in such places.

    Bastards...

Okay. Let me stop you right there.

Sorry, I know it must have been horrible, and people like that are shitheads, and it isn't the victims fault... but the woods? Really? ._.

Like... haven't you heard of all those horror stories of rapists in the woods?

Okay, now that I've gotten the horror movie fanatic rant out of me...

That really does sound horrible. I mean... yeah, common sense dictates to stay the fuck away from the woods, but people should just be less... assholy. Harrassment is just... ugh. It really makes me upset thinking about it. If someone wants to go walk in the woods, they should be able to without facing that.

Um, I've never heard any horror stories about the woods, there's usually no one there at all.

I'm sorry this happened :/ But you're extremely brave to take that step, so good on you! And running away was not cowardly at all, it was a wise choice, I just hope you're okay.

Well yeah, every wooded area is different...

But what about stories of crazy axe murderers wandering around, like in horror movies? :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

... yeah, sorry, I tend to joke to lighten the mood. ._.

But yeah, going into a place like the woods alone isn't that good, because is something like what happened happens, there's no one to see it. Then again, diffusion of responsibility wills that people don't do much if they're in a crowd, but...

Still, I don't think you're a coward for running away. It's what you should do in that situtation. What's the alternative? Not something you'd want to think about.

Still, might want to stay out of the woods alone for a while. ._.

At least have some "bodyguards" there, since it seems like there were more than one.

I'd just like to reiterate that you're definitely not at fault for being harassed. People like that are assholes. I'm just saying, I watched too many horror movies to go in the woods alone without something to defend my self if necessary. ._. (Not like a gun or knife or anything, maybe a screwdriver or key. Just something to buy time to get away or something. Or pepper spray, if I knew where to get it. >_>)

    Safety first.

Comfort and confidence will come afterwards.

What the actual [flip flops]. You were actually chased by a group of guys for that? Are you kidding me?

Why can't people just mind their own business, you weren't hurting anyone. Also, please never go back into the woods by yourself in the future. That sounds dangerous with deviants like that running around in packs.

That's awesome that you went out for the first time as a girl though. Props to you there, but bring a friend if you can next time or go somewhere safer
