So my shoulders are thankfully narrow (and hopefully won't suddenly expand overnight) so i'm good there but my hips as you would expect are narrow and this poses quite a problem and i am wondering what some solutions are to this?

You will have to find clothes that first of all, make you feel good. Second of all, make you look fantastic.
Peplum shirts can really give the illusion of hips. They are also really fashionable. That's really the only thing I can suggest in regards to clothes. Perhaps belts around the waistline? I'm not sure. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

A belt at the waist is a good idea.

This has some really interesting stuff.

For me, the best wardrobe stuff I've used is color (dark jeans for me, light shirt on top). For you, dark colors for shirts are slimming, and lighter (light wash jeans) would refrain from slimming your hips.
