So, as we all know, I go by the name Alexander. Currently I have no plans on changing that as I love the name. But I have decided to make it a middle name. My reasoning behind this is simple. My two brothers both have A names for their middle names and I would like to contuine the trend. Their initials are. C.A.W and R.A.W Yes, I have made fun of them their whole lives xD. My current intials are S.N.W so now, unofficially it is ___.A.W Looking for a first name now. I really love the name Asher. Rreeaallly love it. But I also like the names Jace and Ian. Want others opinions, also if they have any other name suggestions.
I'm not too fond of "Asher" myself, but if you like it, then go for it! <3 I like "Jace". It's nice. Ian is a lovely name, as well. My grandad is named "Ian", and my step-dad is called "Iain". In terms of other names, I don't know what you want. This website has lots of names, with etymologies and gender information and stuff. I think it's pretty nice! <3
Yeah, I'm seeing a lot of people don't like Asher. But I still have a feeling that it is the name I will go with. But I will still go by Alexander
I like Asher, I think it's a cool name. Jace is also cool and I quite like Ian. But I think Asher is my favorite, if I were to choose one. The only reason I might go by Jace is solely because Jace Alexander sounds a little better than Asher Alexander, but if you like it go for it.
Why not just try each of the names out for like a week to those that you are out to? See which one you like to be referred to the most and which one sticks with you. Something that you might respond to the best would really help too! Personally, I like Ian but the choice is ultimately yours to make.
I did that actually and Jace and Asher came out on top. Asher just sounds better with my last name. I also know that my mom would of named me Ashley if my dad hadn't insisted on Stacy, and Asher is close to that
I almost went with Asher as my middle name, but I instead went with Ashton. I do like Asher though. It is a good name.
I'm a fan of Asher. Other similar names include Asa, Ash, and Ashton. Jace sounds too "forced" as a cool name, though that's just my opinion. Ian has a nice classic feel to it... You could look into variant spellings or versions of "Ian" (there are a lot of Welsh ones). Some examples include: Iaian Ioan (pronounced "eyo-wehn") Ewan (pr. "ee-wehn" or "you-wehn")
I think Ian's good. It always makes me think of Ian Malcolm from Jurassic Park, and as we all know, that was Jeff Goldblum at his sexual peak
