Here goes.... I for years identified as gay but I knew deep down I was really bi and when I was brave enough to live accordingly out in the open I found Gay men hate bisexual men even ones who do lean toward men. But to them its all about sex and anyone who is not 100% into men is subject to name calling and social blacklisting for not marketing themselves to their selfish carnal demands 24/7.They cannot accept its not all about sex. To add to the discussion I myself am attracted to off the wall types who fit no category regardless of gender.To me the more abnormal the better.And call me crazy but I celebrate the differences in people.I get heat for that being called confused and such but I know what and who I like. I live in a small dusty town 100 miles east of San Diego and in this town meeting like minded people is hard because of the small town mentality and the misconceptions of bisexuals which many refuse to abandon. In the meantime I live a quiet small town life of a single person looking to other places and people who got this figured out or at least have a good idea. I am a male. Iam a Bisexual but above all I am a person. why is it in 2015 people still cannot respect others as they are?
Those gay men you've encountered sound bitter and sour I wouldn't let a few rotten seeds ruin the entire harvest! I personally don't find bisexual men anything but intriguing, they're my favorite people to analyze. I think the concept of a man being attracted to both genders is just pretty fascinating (not sure why?) just invokes me. I know a lot of gay men who feel the same there is even a category in gay porn devoted to bisexual men doing "bisexual things" you know whatever that means Haha. It's not all about the sex either but the lifestyle and mentally is also attractive.
I second that. They sound bitter. I'm so sorry that you're in a small town where hose ideas are fostered. It happens in many small towns. Maybe just try to educate them and not get mad. It's not their fault. It's aggrivating I'm sure but they can't help it really. Was this your boyfriend or something?
