Do you know if any of them can work with you on a sliding scale? One I've seen worked out sessions for about $20-25, and another was $40.
All the gender therapist's I've been finding have an avg price of $100-$150, could someone who works with a sliding scale decrease that to around $40
My own therapy has been invaluable, but that much said, a therapist is not a requirement in the U.S. to start anything. Therapists are guides and advocates. All of this is easier when you can get one. But in the meantime does your regular doctor know you are trans? Regular doctors are way better at working with insurance.
