I was wondering what some good ways to look androgynous are without freaking a religious, conservative family out. I'm gender fluid/androgynous so I kind of wanted to piece a bunch of things from both stereotypical genders together. I currently have long hair and wear jewelry (men's). I'm forced to wear loose fitting clothing because of a skin condition and allergies so unfortunately I can't wear too many tight things, unless it's not constricting my skin. I also can't wear jeans either. I was thinking of maybe painting my nails, however I think this might be too much of a shock to my family - I just came out as gay so I want to give them some time before coming out as genderqueer. Any thoughts of little things I could do?
