Mostly for people (MTF) who have already or currently are transitioning, what did you (if at all) do before you weren't out but you had to do something to make yourself more comfortable? Like did you shave, wear makeup without any one knowing, or something like that? For example today I shaved my legs for the first time, but I'm wearing pants so no one knows, it's just for me. Sorry if I confuse anyone
Shave legs and other body parts, paint toe nails, grow finger nails if possible, tuck, wear bra and panties, use unisex or not so obvious feminine perfume.
The reason I can survive presenting male at work (I present female at any other time at home or in public) is that I want to keep and make sure I get permanent status. I also don't want to change gender presentation in the middle of an academic year. Starting for the first week as Mr. And then be all like "ok I'm Ms. *last name*" And I Definetely shave... i hate facial hair even if I was cis.
