I talked to my sister again tonight. I told her that I was thinking of coming out, and that I want to start my transition no later than next year. We now have a plan: I'm going to write a painfully detailed coming out letter describing my position with facts to back myself up, I'm going to give it to my sister to give to my mom when my dads not home, and I'm going to "go for a walk" as my sister tries to reason with my mom and I'll come back and talk to her when my sister says to. My main goal is to go after my mom, because my dad is trouble. If I can talk to my mom, I hope that I can get hormones and voice therapy and stuff. Natasha Elyssa may come sooner than I expected. I'm tired of hiding, and running from myself and the possible negative outcomes. I am Natasha Elyssa Caprice [last name withheld] and I am a strong, beautiful, and courageous woman. I, for the first time since I was 13, feel confident in expressing my gender publicly. And I say BRING IT ON! I'm ready for the hate, sorrow, and most importantly, my transition into womanhood.
