I've been feeling really dysphoric lately, and I was wondering if there was anything you guys do to feel more okay with the body you've got?

This seems probably like obvious advice, but some things I have done in the past include:

(I assume this is for body dysphoria?)

    • Bind (outside or at home)
    • Wear men's clothing
    • Wear boxers
    • Pack
    • Restyle my hair (it's short but it usually is a mess and doesn't respond to a comb)
    • Work out (push ups/tricep dips are what I do, since they can be done virtually anywhere)
    • And also, distract myself if nothing else works.

Take care, hope you feel a bit better soon (*hug*)

I don't "hate" my body, but I feel it was wasted potential that I was born in it.

I could probably pass for a female, even though I haven't begun hormone therapy yet. I hope to be more fulfilled afterward. If I make it until then.

Thank you. I have plans to start working out more, and once I have money saved up, I plan to find a gender identity therapist or something like that.(*hug*)

If you don't have money or ability to order one its pretty simple to make one out of a girdle

Also, you can make one out of a spandex camisole or two.
A little bit cheaper and if you're closeted parents usually don't think anything of someone getting a couple.

A binder? My mother purchased one for me as a kind of late christmas present a while back. I'd like to get another one soon, because I want to have one while the other is in the wash. I've been considering starting packing as well, but don't have money nor want enough to necessitate and obtain an actual packer. I've heard a rolled sock works well enough, but idk. I'll have to try it.
