So I recently came out to myself that I am trans (ftm). I just told a friend how ive been feeling today and im hoping to get my hair cut short on monday. I would like to try out a male name and pronouns to make sure I like it but I cant deceide on a name to try. So far ive got a list of: Nate Oscar Rhys Im not too sure how I feel about these names and I would also like some names beginning with E as my birthname does. If you have any ideas or suggestions for names or any preferences out of that list I would love to hear. Thanks
Well, out of the list you've put up, all I'd say is that Oscar just sounds like the name of a cantankerous old man. Have you tried googling "names that start with e"? Baby naming sites are good for that kind of thing.
Hmm... Elliott Elijah Emerson Evan Emmett Edward You can also look at baby name sites to get some ideas. Also, if you want to test out your name, you can here: http://emptyclosets.com/forum/anony...sion/191792-test-your-name-pronouns-here.html Good luck.
Out of your list, Oscar is my favourite because it make me think of Oscar Wilde. Some names I like beginning with E: Edmund Erasmus Ezra Ernest Elias Evander
Erian Emerson Evan Easton Edge Ember Echo Erryn names from: Unisex Baby Names starting with E | BabyNames.com
Thanks for all the ideas given. Ive narrowed it down to Elliot and Nate so now just need to deceide from these. I did like Evan but felt it was too close to my birthname and want to get away from that part of me. Thanks anyways though
Between Nate and Elliot, I like the name Elliot more. However, you have to go with the name that feels right for you! Take your time, it'll come to you!
Yeah, go with whatever makes you happy. I have a really good friend named Elliot, and I think it's a great name. I don't personally love Nate as a name, but if you do that doesn't really matter.
Elliot is a nice name. Nate is all right, but I do like Elliot more. I think it's because Nate is a one syllable name and I'm not fond of one syllable names... like mine. :tears:
I like Nate more, but it's the name you have to keep and wear every day, so pick the one that fits you best!
