HEY I'm genderqueer I think I may be agender but no rlly sure
    Just
1-Is it ok to identify as agender if I kinda was a girl when I was younger?

2-What can I do if I don't look androgynous?? I mean I look like a girl. I have considered using a binder, but...IDK!! Im not even sure if I like my boobs...? I also like wearing skirts. And I don't have like big hips or something but... Genetics say that when I grow up I will. :eusa_doh:How do I change that to androgyny?? :help:I would love that when people look at me they have to ask my gender or something.:tears:
    Somebody PLEASE HELP:help:

    So, resuming:
1- Can someone be agender if they felt like a girl when younger or is it that I'm confused?
2- how does someone know they're Agender?
3- How is it to wear a binder?? Any advice??
4- Can I look androgynous if I want?
5-Also any advice about coming out

so PLEASE answer all the questions you can, even if it is just 1. I really, REALLY need advice. I'm not even sure if I don't feel like a girl, so... Shit :tantrum:

Hello :smilewave I can't really answer all of your questions but I'll try my best!

    1. Yeah, it's perfectly fine  Not everyone knows that they were trans at a young age. I didn't really feel like anything was wrong until I was around 11-13 and even then I didn't work out that I was trans until 14 (which was this year!) Maybe it's that when you were younger, you had a flat chest and no curves so you had no dysphoria?

    2. Hmm...I'm not too sure about this one. Maybe a shorter haircut if you like or wear more unisex clothing. Okay, for binding, if you don't have an actual binder you can wear two sports bras one worn backwards and one the correct way. With binding, you shouldn't wear it for more than 8 hours, not while exercising or sleeping. Don't use bandages! I'm not sure if you're wanting to transition but if you're genderqueer, you can if you decide to. You can get top surgery and I think that low dose hormones are something you could do but for example, low dose testosterone will have the same effects of a regular dose but the changes will happen slower so be careful when making that decision! There might be other HRT options for genderqueer people but I'm not too sure, sorry!

    3. I don't own an actual binder so I can't really answer this one :frowning2:

    4. I think I mostly answered this one in question #2 but when I try to hide my hips (I didn't talk about this before), I try not to wear tight pants and I wear loose shirts that I don't tuck in so that they sort of hide my hips as well as my breasts. With AFABs, a lot of our body fat is around our hips and thighs. Now I have heard of compression shorts which may help to lessen the appearance of curves but I've never tried it myself.

    5. Come out when you feel comfortable, if your parents are anti-LGBT then I would advise against coming out to them. You don't have to say anything if you don't feel safe or comfortable. You can come out face-to-to, via text, Facebook, a letter, there are a lot of other ways but those are the only ways I can come up with right now!

Hopefully I helped  Good luck!

Yeah, of course you can. I always thought I was a girl until around June.
You asked me how I knew and it was pretty long, so... yeah. It's on your wall.
DO NOT WEAR IT MORE THAN 8-12 HOURS. DO NOT GET A SIZE THAT IS TOO SMALL. IF YOU ARE IN PAIN, TAKE IT OFF. DO NOT BIND WITH ACE BANDAGED, DUCT TAPE, OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT IS UNSAFE. Other than that, I have no other advice seeing as how I've never even seen a binder in real life
Of course you can, you can look however you want and however you are comfortable with looking.
Umm... that depends on your situation. Besides, I don't have much experience in that department, sorry.

1- Can someone be agender if they felt like a girl when younger or is it that I'm confused? Yes
2- how does someone know they're Agender? They feel like they don't have a gender (I feel that is distinguished from genderqueer which I would take to mean they have a gender, it just isn't binary).
3- How is it to wear a binder?? Any advice?? It's a little uncomfortable at first, but you get used to it.
4- Can I look androgynous if I want? Yes, binding is useful, as is getting an androgynous haircut, clothing etc. What you asked about delaying puberty can be done with hormone blockers, but you'd have to go to a specialist for that and convince them to help you, something which tends to be quite difficult for non-binary people. Here at any rate, we tend to pretend we're binary trans in order to transition.

Thank you all!! :') now I know that when I was a kid I hated to be misgendered for a boy which I hated (in my country boys have short hair, girls have long, it's the rule. If you cut your hair short then ur lesbian what a nice country haha) an some people told me "you look like a boy!!" And they where so rude... I guess that is what made me stick with the idea that I was a girl. But not now. I'm gonna be a nice agender 13 year old kid. And when the professor says "boys on a line, girls on the other" I'm gonna start giving spins like crazy (I'm very random at school) and everybody is gonna laugh. : ) it's gonna be like my "f*ck the cistem!!" Thing haha or I will just stand in the middle while the professor shouts " PICK A SIDE!!" And me saying "I already did"

OMGGG I JUST WANNA COME OUT BUT... MY PLAN. IM GONNA COME OUT IN APRIL.
