So I fairly recently figured out that I am agender, but I have a very gender-specific name, and I don't like it. I've been thinking of Kaden, but I'm not sure, because that kind of seems more guy-ish. I'd basically just like some people's opinions on how these three sound/look as far as being gender-neutral goes. Kaden, Kaiden, and Kayden. Or any other spelling, I might like those too! Thanks!

Adding the Y would make it look more gender neutral in my opinion. "Kayden"

    Kaeden?

Honest opinion, none of those are anything but masculine to me.

To tell you the truth, those all sound like boys' names to me. I suggest something more like Sam which could be short for Samantha or Samuel! Totally gender-neutral!

Yeah, the one with the y is the least masculine, but they're all pretty masculine, not really neutral.

Aki is a gender neutral name. I doubt you're looking for a japanese name, but I think it sounds good.

P.S. I have the same problem with my name. My name, Andrew, litteraly means man. I like the name, but it does really work for me in the long run.

Anything with the ending sound of "aden" are all masculine to me.

    Some ideas:
    Auren
    Ashley or Ash
    Avery
    Aubrey
    Lee
    Pat
    Robin
    Sam
    Taylor
    Terry

You can also do searches for "unisex" names. It's tricky, though, when some are shown as unisex but then are typically gendered one way or the other. For example, on babynames you see "Will" as unisex

Hmm... I kind of like Aubrey. Also Skye. Does Skye sound fairly neutral?

Yeah, I'd say skye is pretty neutral, maybe slightly feminine but too much, imo.

I know this is probably a stupid comment.
But why not try a Uni-sex name?

Kaden, Kaiden, and Kayden actually sound gender neutral to me, leaning slightly towards feminine...I like those a lot
