I know you see a ton of these threads, so I'm sorry about this...

I'm in quite a tricky situation. I have a chosen (female) first name so I'm already rid of my deadname and is quite fond of this one. But naturally, it gets me misgendered a lot, and I hate that.
So I probably need to start thinking of a new, masculine or gender neutral name, but since I've already chosen name once, I have no idea.

My current name start with S so I would like something that also start on S, or Z or Y...
Some names I like but not enough I think are:
    Seth/Zeth
    Zane
    Zander

Further suggestions? Shower me in names! I need all the help I can get.

Zander can also be spelt Xander which is said the same

    Zeus [mythology]
Zyder [thought this sounded cool, like Ryder but with a Z]

    Samuel or Sam
Selleck [I like this name due to Tom Selleck, who played Richard on FRIENDS]

    Yates
    Yoland [Yoh-land]

That's all I've got for now but there's probably many more on internet websites.

I can't help but I'm the same, my middle name is Hope and I'm going with that because it feels like mine more than my first name (olivia). The thing is that most people wouldn't think that it's unisex so I'm facing the same thing as you. My advice (feel free to disregard this as much as you like) is to keep your changed S name and just tell people that it fits you. However, if you really want to change your name websites are a great place to start. So are baby name books if you have any lying around. I bought a second hand one for naming characters.

    Zack/h
    Zed
    Zebediah
Or, y'know if you're not into the whole brevity thing...Zeb.
    Sean
    Shawn
    Seamus

That's all I have to say about that.

I like the spelling Xander but it just makes me think of Xander in Buffy the Vampire slayer! And we're not really alike xD

    Yates was quite interesting.
I've gone through tons of baby name sites and similar, but I thought that hearing other's opinions might help shine some light onto names I haven't even considered.

It would be really nice to keep my current name, but I would love to be able to go stealth in the future, and that's just not possible if I keep it, sadly.

I now remebered Zed was one of the few names I liked when I checked last time, thanks for reminding me!
Shawn was nice though, I haven't noticed that before...

Thanks for everyone trying to help! I'm quite picky, but just talking about it, trying to figure something out really helps.

Sean is pronounced the same as Shawn or Shaun just so you know. It's the Irish for John. And Seamus is shay-mus, it's the Irish for James. There's also Shane (shay-n) which is a form of Sean. Sebastian, Samson, Saul, Scott, Sheldon (you may get Big Bang Theory jokes with this though), Sherlock, Sid, Simon, Spencer, Stan, Steven/Stephen, Stuart/Stewert, Zachary, Zeshawn (I'm not so sure on this one), Zia or Zuka aren't too bad.
Sasha is a Russian short form of Alexander. Skye is a Dutch short form of Skylar.
