Hello, I am a 13 year old transmasculine (ftm) and experience a fair amount of top dysphoria. In the past, I have used bandages to bind the chest but I am hoping to find a safer method. I am unable to purchase an actual binder, so I was wondering whether any of you guys had any suggestions/tips for an alternative.
Sorry it's short, I am tight for time.

First, please, please, please don't use bandages to bind anymore. It's very dangerous and I don't want you to get hurt.

You can try doubling up on sports bras, one forwards, one backwards. It's pretty effective if you've got small breasts, but for anything over, say, B, you'd need a binder for it to be flat.

Thanks for your reply, YingYang. I'll follow your advice and try to stop using bandages.
If anyone has any more suggestions please please share!

Thanks for taking the time to respond and provide links in your comment, bacon. I will certainly be 'experimenting' with YingYang's suggestion and the ideas found in the links.

Again, though much has been said, any more advice on this is appreciated.

I don't have much to add to what others have written. I just wanted to add that you should not bind over 8 hours. Also, if it hurts, then take it off. You'll also want to make sure that it is not too tight. You don't want to damage yourself.
