Hopefully that doesn't sound like a dumb question. I've been slouching since I was 9, ever since my chest started developing. Needless to say my posture is horrible. I've been trying to correct that, but I'm also wondering if binders can help with slouching. I find that I do tend to stand straighter with one on.

I'd say that if the reason for your slouching is that you're trying to hide your chest then I think binding can really improve your posture.

Maybe even try to make upper and lower back exercises at the gym so you will get a wider back and also it will help stenghten your posture

Sorry the gym is the one place I never go. I don't have the money, I don't have the time, nor a way. Plus I always feel uncomfortable there.

No need for a gym. If you want to do exercises, you can do them at home ;P

Anyway, for the binding, I think it can, yeah. I used to do it too when I had my first puberty because I wanted to hide my chest. I had baggy shirts, so it usually hid everything. With a binder, you don't have to worry about it anymore. This way, you can work on walking with a straight back :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Yeah I've slowly gotten back into walking , push ups, and sits up at home.

I think most of the slouching is just habit after doing it so long. I can always put books on my head and try to walk straight xD
