i have a binder from an asian company that i got for like $4. it doesnt do the best job but you get what you paid for. im looking into buying a new one that will work better, but i dont have the money for one from gc2b or underworks. ive been looking at the ones on tranzwear but idk how well they work, does anyone have any experience with them? what is my best course of action?

I don't know any safe cheap brands, but all I can say is that I would strongly suggest not to use the Asian ones. I've heard some really bad things about them both here and other parts of the Internet, they're very unsafe. I hope sometime else on here can suggest a cheaper brand so you don't have to put yourself at risk.

Sadly underworld and GC2B binders are the only ones to sell "cheap" safe binders. The $4 ones and ones from amazon are not safe.

GC2b and Underworks are the best you'll be able to get on a budget that are safe. The super cheap ones (under $10) from ebay and amazon aren't safe.

Sadly, the cheap binders are way more likely to cause damage to your body. I've heard of people breaking their ribs from these binders. This is because they are generally made for short term wear as cosplay binders. This means that they are not designed for long term wear by transmasculine people. I would try to save up for a better binder so that you do not do anymore damage to yourself.

If you're in a pitch, look into binder giveaway programs. Some give new or lightly used binders for cheap or free to those in need. I'm not sure if it's still going on, but you can get a new binder from Point5CC with a purchase of anything from the site.

If you can't afford a good one, there's also free binder programs.
FTMEssentials has a free binder program if you're 24 or younger.

If you want to check it out:

I bet if you are part of any LGBT(QA...) groups where you live, they might have someone who could help you.

Good luck! I haven't even bought one myself yet.
