So I was wanting more info on HRT stuff because I want to start T later this year. Anyways I see this doctor for pain management and just my medicine in general, I was curious if she could maybe prescribe T? I am going to see her next week so I think I will at least ask about it. If she cant then what are some doctors that can?

I'm not sure if primary doctors can. You'll likely need to be referred to an endocrinologist.

Some primary's will, while others don't know enough about T and dosing to be 100% confident they are giving the correct dose and will refer you to an endocrinologist.

It really depends on the knowledge of the primary care doctor. My current one has some knowledge, so I'm actually considering switching over to him when I move back to the central Ohio area. Other than those people though, you generally will have to go to a endo.
