I've never realized just how happy and validating it is to see your name written down. I finally decided on my middle name, and since ever since I was little one of the most important things about my name is what the signature should look like, I decided to play around on a piece of paper with my signature. This was the first time I've actually written down my full name, and seeing it written down made me so stupidly happy that I started crying, like I have a name, I exist, and I just feel stupidly happy right now.

Yay! I can't wait to not sign things with my dead name anymore too. It's always a great moment to finally find your name.

Yeah, it's a really nice feeling. Sadly my birth name goes on basically everything, but getting to write my preferred name, even I'm just just typing it out on the internet, is absolutely great.

I'm still in high school--a Catholic all-girls school--so I still have to sign things with my birth name, but I can't wait until I don't have to do that anymore.
