So it's getting to be tank top season where I'm at, and I can't just wear a t shirt, because sometimes it gets up to 85-90 degrees Fahrenheit, and man, do I get toasty in my binder w a tshirt on. How can I hide or minimise the appearance of my binder/straps under a tank top?

When I wear a tank in the summer I usually throw a buttonup on top. (Like this, but with a tank top underneath.) I have a couple that are really lightweight fabric. It also helps hide my hips a bit since shorts aren't the best look for me hipwise lol.

Depending on the binder, I've heard of guys passing it off as layering two tanks.

Yo. Did you know there are tank tops with a built-in binding section? (can't say I know well they work, but they do exist)

I'm sure you could find some tank tops that can hide your binder pretty well. Like non saggy armholes and wide shoulder strap parts. Also consider that you are probably a lot more conscious about your binder looking like a binder than other people are. Most people will think it's just an under vest. At least that's what my mum says anyway, but I tend to agree with her.

Unless you get a side moob problem like I do, so I just don't wear tank vests at all

I have one, and it works pretty great. Mine is the Underworks concealer tank in white. It binds well, and the fabric is quite breathable. The only concern would be for those people with a larger chest, because they could possibly get some cleavage going on at the top of the tank, which would completely defeat the purpose.

You can buy thicker strapped tank tops from Wal-Mart/Target/ pretty much any store for a fairly decent price. For thinner strapped tank tops you can just say your binder is a sports bra or even a sports compression shirt.

There are sleeveless hoodies with thin fabric that are pretty cool and can hide a binder

Also, gc2b have just released a new range of 5 nude coloured binders! So that might be worth looking in to as they'd be a lot less noticeable when under clothing.

Oooo I didn't know that! I just got a new underworks recently and I like it a lot better than my old gc2b because I think it binds better, but I'll look into that!

I definitely agree there. I wear my underworks 9/10 over my gc2b. If anyone is interested then a company called Flavnt are releasing nude coloured binders around June that are going to made specifically so that you're able to swim in them too.

PointCC actually sell tank vests that are made for hiding binders, maybe have a look at those

    Only a pity they aren't full-length.
